Week 6

Folks-
Week 5 of the season has come and gone........ We enter week six with a 9-18 record, and a 4-4 record in the league.
We'll look to get back on track this week as we have 3 league games and one non-league game on Friday. A quick reminder, the end of the league schedule is July 29th, only 11 days away.
Currently we sit in 7th place, but anything can happen. Remember we bring to the table a lot of experience because of our non-league schedule. Let's fight hard and try to give the guys in their final year a chance to make the playoffs!
Tonight is our clinic for the Colchester Cannons U10 team..... we'll start at 4pm.... we'll be working with them on basics and then they will be staying to watch our game.
Friday's non-league game against Hartford has been changed to Colchester High School.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT:
In 2004, we won 7 straight games to end the season to slide into 4th place!
In 2005, we won only 2 non-league games and finished 22-5 (1st place) in the league.
In 2006, we lost all but one of our league games in the first 1/2 of the season... and finished 2nd in the league.
In 2007, we have more graduating players committed to playing college baseball than any other year in Cannons history
